The BASIC Web Site package.
Most established companies already have an existing logo, they use on their letterhead and various other business documents. At Zykom Design we use as much pre-existing artwork as possible to be able to bring you this incredible offer of a FREE site. Between a combination of high quality scanning and high-end touch-up techniques we are able to bring these to a usable format for your custom web site. We most often use letterhead, photo's of the actual building, owners, company vehicles and the products themselves or employees performing the actual service. Most companies that choose this method of establishing an initial internet presence are so satisfied with the service and interaction between our company and yours, that they soon decide to move to the advanced web package for more 'bells & whistles'. The site we create for your business under the BASIC plan is a top quality custom design, unique to your company. The only limitation is one of size. We do not create custom graphic artwork under this plan other than that described below. Understandable, we limit your FREE site to the following: 6 Page Web Site Page 1 - Home Page Customer supplied logo - across all pages Customer supplied photo of place of business or business owner or other relevant photo that you feel would be more approximate. (limit 1 photo) Full company name, address & phone number. Plus a brief (100 word max.) description of what your company has to offer. (Customer supplied) Full navigation bar that is on all pages to help the user move between pages on your site. (Unique Custom Artwork) Page 2 - Products / Services Page Up to (3) three photos of your product or service. (Customer supplied) A description of the products or services (600 word max.). (Customer Supplied) Page 3 - Contact Information Full Company name, address, phone & fax numbers. Email address, Hours of operation, Directions. A hypertext link to Mapquest, for your potential customers to obtain a FREE door to door driving directions map. Page 4 - About the Company A brief history of the company (350 word max), including recent press releases, partnerships, association affiliations or other information that would encourage potential customers. (Customer supplied) Page 5 - Hyperlinks Page Up to (10) ten relevant hyperlinks to other sites on the web that may also help encourage potential customers to become life-long customers. (Zykom Design researched and recommended) Suggestions- Business Partners, Government or News Reporting agencies that promote your service or product, Associations that your company is a member of (Better Business Bureau, etc). Page 6 - Coupon / Discount Page If desired we will provide an online coupon /discount page, with coupons that may be printed out or information on special offers or 'day-specific' deals (e.g. Seniors 10% on Tuesdays)
This is the work plan from which we create your site under the BASIC package. We will edit your descriptions, if so requested, for maximum return, but as with any of the packages you maintain as much control as you feel comfortable with We are here to service you and your needs and provide as much support as appropriate under your plan. What do we get out of this ??? ....the pleasure of bringing you on as a client under a 6 or 12 month maintenance contract for your newly created site. Creating a web site should only be phase one of your overall interest in creating a web presence. Your site should be updated periodically and professionally to keep interest and visitors coming back. Not only will we update the pages, keeping them fresh but as part of maintenance we continue to register your site with more and more search engines, bringing more & more traffic to your site. COSTS THAT ARE NOT COVERED: Maintenance of your site is not covered. In order to avail of this FREE site offer, you must sign a maintenance agreement. Hosting your site. After your site is created, it must be uploaded to a web server. A web server is really nothing more than a large computer with special software loaded. The web server will have a direct and constant Internet connection that allows computer users around the world (and locally) to access your site 24 hrs a day. We are also a hosting company, so we can provide this service too. We can make this entirely transparent to you by including this service with maintenance charges and handling all paperwork and technical issues. We can also upload to your existing hosting provider should you already have an established relationship. On average this costs approximately $20 a month with an initial setup charge of approximately $100, depending on the size of the site itself.
